This plug-and-play PID temperature controller is for controlling the temperature of the electric smokers, such as Bradley, Smokin-it, Smokin Tex and Masterbuilt Smoker. It uses a PID algorithm to automatically adjust power to the heater to compensate disturbances from sunlight and wind. It can hold the smoking temperature within one degree precision. App-based WIFI support is included in this model. This controller has 6 programmable steps, and an AC output that is synchronized with program step(s). Users can use the first probe to control the temperature of the smoker cabinet. The second pointed probe is to be inserted into the food so that the internal temperature can be monitored. The ending criteria of each step can be determined either by preset time, or by food temperature (probe #2). For cooking small-sized food or smoking the surface of food, users can use the preset time as a reference point to finish the step. This listing comes with three probes: One wall-mount probe (probe #1), which measures the temperature in the smoker cabinet. Its maximum mounting thickness is 0.87" (22mm).
